Program Overview

The Disney College Program at the Walt Disney World® Resort is a one-of-a-kind, Disney-designed combination of education and work experience. Disney College Program Cast Members have the opportunity to:

Build transferable skills that include relationship building, problem solving, and written and verbal communication
Obtaining and embracing these skills will help make participants an asset to any employer they have in the future, and these skills also will be helpful in their personal development.
Explore networking opportunities at the Walt Disney World Resort
Participants have numerous opportunities to meet Disney leaders, attend learning activities hosted by Disney executives and make the connections they want to learn more about the professional roles available at the Walt Disney World Resort.
Tap into educational opportunities that offer new courses coupling academic theory and Walt Disney World management expertise
All participants have the opportunity to take courses and possibly earn college credit. These classes will provide additional insight into the leadership and management concepts you're learning in the workplace.

What can the Disney College Program do for me?

During their tenure on the Disney College Program, participants will have the opportunity to develop transferable skills, including Guest service, problem solving, service recovery, effective communication, teamwork, leadership, attention to detail, time management, personal empowerment, self-confidence, responsibility and cultural sensitivity.

Although participants may not pursue a career in the hospitality, entertainment or service industries, they will have the opportunity to learn skills that will be valuable to them in any of their future endeavors and the opportunity to make professional connections with leaders from a variety of disciplines through numerous networking events.

Each day, our participants will take their classroom and personal experiences out into our one-of-a kind, 47-square-mile "learning laboratory" called the Walt Disney World® Resort. This experiential-learning opportunity will provide an unparalleled enhancement to a participant's academic and professional career!

Below, you will find a listing of some of the most common majors of students participating on the Disney College Program. Each link will take you to a detailed outline of the opportunities that you may have during your program and the opportunities that may be available to you after you complete your program successfully.

How To Apply, Interview, and Audition

You must first complete the "Role Checklist" and online application and attend an on-campus presentation or E-Presentation.

You will be scheduled for an interview following the on-campus presentation or you will schedule a telephone interview following the E-Presentation.

After your interview, you will be provided with additional audition information. You must attend the audition to be considered for an Entertainment position.
